pampanga escapade
i just celebrated my 21st bday(ouch! i'm getting older) when my bestfriend invited me to pampanga...two nights and three days of fun,what the hell...i wouldn't even refuse. it was supposed to be a double celebration of my birthday and harolds upcoming birthday...
we decided to meet in Pasay...a place that i haven't been to in my five-year stay here in the metro...around 9:45 in the evening our bus finally left the terminal...i thought it would take us three hours to reach pampanga...but after two hours in the bus i noticed that we were already approaching Dau...after naming bumaba,harold was already there waiting for us...
at his granny's house lots of tocino was waiting to be devoured... pampanga's best kumbaga,hehe...and a session of beer drinking came after the luxurious tocino dinner(rather midnight snack,it was 12:15 to be exact!)the last time i experienced being really drunk was last march at the organization's sem-ender...and now that the opportunity of being drunk once again is knocking on my door?hmmm...i of course accepted it with open arms,i wanted to relax after a very hectic week...drinking and spending times with my high school buddies and bestfriends,hell...what more can i ask for!
the next night we went to the sisig festival...my only regret was that we weren't able to have some free sisig...we have to buy pa at those mini bar along the road in order for us to at least try one of pampanga's delicacies...
the saturday and sunday was spent going to the nearest mall...and VIDEOKE! what more could be fun than singing your heart out and the world doesn't give a damn! i was even proud of myself for being able to finally sing the throat wrenching song "a total eclipse of the heart" by bonnie tyler...
i had so much fun...i just wis that we could do it again sometime...i can't wait to sing my heart out again..play nasty jokes with my friends and i can't wait to be with my hilarious friends again...it was an escapade to remember!
